The National AIDS Control Council (NACC) through KARSCOM (Kenya HIV and AIDS Research Coordinating Mechanism) is now accepting proposals to undertake priority operational research (RFA for Operational Research Round 1) on the topics identified through the Joint HIV and AIDS Programme Review and by specific Monitoring and Coordination Groups. The proposals will receive national level funding up to Ksh.2milion and therefore the sample sizes should cover at least 2 provinces. The timeframe is 3-6months. The application should be made using the official form provided and applicants are advised to read the Guidelines of Management of Research Protocols booklet before completing the form. The goal of this RFA is to promote evidence based programming.
